Rx. Astragali Huang Qi

Strengthens the Spleen, tonifies Qi and nourishes Blood.

With Ren Shen, for Qi Deficiency. With Bai Zhu, for Spleen Qi Deficiency. With Dang Gui, for Qi and Blood Deficiencies. With Dang Gui, Shu Di Huang, Ren Shen, Bai Zhu and Rou Gui, for flat sores that do not pustulate or ulcers that do not heal.

Cx. Cinnamomi Rou Gui

Warms Kidneys, strengthens Yang and assists the generation of Qi and Blood.

With Huang Qi and Dang Gui, for Yin-type boils due to Qi and Blood Deficiencies especially those that form but do not ulcerate. With Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong, for dysmenorrhea, postpartum abdominal pain or amenorrhea due to Deficiency Cold of the Chong and Ren channels.

Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen

Tonifies Yuan Qi and Qi of the Spleen, Lungs and Heart.

With Shu Di Huang, for dysmenorrhea, postpartum abdominal pain or amenorrhea due to Deficiency Cold of the Chong and Ren channel. With Bai Zhu, tonifies the transformation and transportation functions of the Spleen. With Bai Zhu and Fu Ling, for Spleen and Stomach Qi Deficiencies with Dampness with anorexia, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal distention and fatigue.

Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang

Tonifies the Blood, nourishes Yin, nourishes Jing and fills the Marrow.

With Dang Gui and Bai Shao, for dizziness, palpitations, insomnia and menstrual dysfunction due to Blood Deficiency. With Dang Gui, Bai Shao and Chuan Xiong, for anemia. With Ren Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, Dang Gui and Bai Shao, for anemia with fatigue and weakness.

Rz. Atractylodes Macrocephalae Bai Zhu

Tonifies the Spleen, tonifies Qi, dries Dampness and promotes water metabolism.

With Ren Shen and Huang Qi, for Restless fetus due to Qi Deficiency. With Shu Di Huang, Dang Gui and Bai Shao, for restless fetus due to Blood Deficiency, often with palpitations. With Huang Qi, for Qi and Blood Deficiencies, pallor, debility, fatigue and/or low grade fever due to excessive blood loss and ulcerated abscesses with insufficient drainage or which drain a clear thin discharge. With Bai Shao, nourishes, regulates and harmonizes Qi and Blood. With Bai Shao, Shu Di Huang and Chuan Xiong, for menstrual irregularity, amenorrhea, and dysmenorrhea due to Blood Deficiency or Blood Stasis.
