Shan Zhu Yu 山茱萸(Fructus Corni) 15.00%
Mu Dan Pi 牡丹皮(Cortex Moutan) 11.00%
Shan Yao 山藥(Rhizoma Dioscoreae) 15.00%
Fu Ling 茯苓(Poria cocos) 11.00%

Action and Indication: This formula replenishes Kidney Yang,
invigorates Qi and the Gate of Life, warming the lower part of the body.
It is used for a person with Kidney Yang deficiency and a decline of the
vital Gate-Fire. The symptoms are: lumbago, coldness sensation in
the lower part of the body, spasmodic pain in the lower abdomen,
dysuria, serious thirst and frequent urination and women anuria due to
the pressure of the fetus, nocturia, cough, asthma, edema, persistent
diarrhea.
