It is used to clear Interior Heat with Damp symptoms in the Heart, Stomach and Large Intestine. Related symptoms are: fever; habitual constipation; face and eyes red; nasal bleeding; stifling sensation in the chest; bad breath; irritability; thirsty; canker sores on the tongue and lips; urine is yellow; dizziness due to high blood pressure.
